Horizontal Cooling Tank 5000 LT

All of our products are manufactured entirely from grade 304 stainless steel. The inner vessel is made of 2 mm CrNi sheet, the roll-bond (i.e. the refrigerant circulation area of the cooling system) of 1.20 mm CrNi sheet, and the insulation sheet, which we call the outer wall, of 1.20 mm or 1.5 mm CrNi sheet. With 4 load cells mounted on the legs of the tank, the amount of milk added to the tank can be shown on a digital display in litres or kilograms, as preferred. The temperature of the product in the tank is shown on a digital thermostat on the control panel, and the start and stop values of the cooling compressor can be adjusted by entering the desired temperature as the set value. The gear reducer mounted on the tank stirs the product regularly during and after cooling.

With this process, which we call the smart agitator, the agitator motor runs continuously during cooling to prevent the product from freezing; once the product reaches the desired (set) temperature, the cooling compressor stops and the agitator runs automatically at intervals to prevent the product from spoiling. The agitators are mounted on the body and their number is determined by the tank capacity: 1 agitator motor is used for 2000 Lt, 1 for 3000 Lt and 2 for 5000 Lt. A Volt brand motor and a Yılmaz brand gear reducer are fitted. The speed is 40 rpm.

Cooling is carried out by what we call the roll-bond system. In horizontal products, the refrigerant gas is circulated within the roll-bond system only in the main body, and channels are laid out so that no area is left uncovered, cooling only those areas. Copeland, French and Danfoss brand compressors are used as cooling motors. 404 refrigerant gas is generally used in the cooling system.
Apart from the digital thermostat, the electrical panel consists entirely of Schneider circuit breakers, contactors and thermal relays. For ease of use, it is operated with only three buttons. These are labelled cooling, agitator and pump. The insulation is polyurethane.

Since cleaning these horizontally manufactured tanks is more difficult, an automatic washing system with hot and cold water inlets is optionally fitted to these products. The system works by taking in hot water, normal mains water, acid and alkali at set time intervals and circulating them inside the tank. Suitable cooling motors are selected according to capacity: 2x3 hp cooling motors are used for 200 kg, 2x5 hp for 3000 kg and 2x5 hp for 5000 kg, and these three products are manufactured horizontally.

Brief information on automatic washing

When the tank is switched to washing mode and started, it

1. Takes in cold water for the set number of minutes.
2. Circulates the water for the set number of minutes.
3. Discharges this water from the bottom at the set time.
4. In this step, takes in hot water, acid and alkali according to the set value.
5. Circulates this mixture for the time defined by the set value.
6. Discharges this waste water from the bottom within the set period.
7. Performs two separate rinsing cycles, after which the tank is ready to receive milk.
